Aymette Medina Jorge seconds before entering the capsule for the NS-32 mission.
One of the most meaningful parts of Amy’s journey on NS-32 is her commitment to education and environmental conservation . Aymette's mission in collaboration with SimiSpace is designed to inspire students’ curiosity and engagement in scientific research through real-world learning opportunities. As part of this initiative, hundreds of seeds were flown into space aboard the payload and exposed to spaceflight conditions. These space-flown seeds are now available to educators, offering a unique platform for classroom investigations into aerospace agriculture, plant biology, and the effects of space environments on living organisms.
Amy’s flight included seeds that will support critical reforestation projects in both Latin America and the U.S., helping to rebuild ecosystems.
